If mom and dad stopped loving each other, will they stop loving me too?

Many children have trouble understanding how their parents could stop loving each other. They may think of all the times they have seen them happy together and wonder how that could change. Kids may worry that if, for example, their dad stopped loving their mom then maybe someday he will stop loving them too. A parent's love for a child is different from the love they have for a husband or wife. A parent's love for a child is forever. Just because parents stop loving each other does not mean they will ever stop loving you.
