Classic Kids’ Questions
There are a few kids’ questions that are timeless – we asked them, you asked them, and now your kids are asking them, too! Here are some of the all-time Classic Kids’ Questions! (And their answers, too.)
Why is the sky blue? – This question is first on the list for a reason! Although, we’d be remiss not to follow it up with Why is the grass green? and Where does the rainbow begin?
How many times have you been asked questions about animals? Why do zebras have stripes?, Why can’t fish live out of water?, and Why do cats have whiskers? are a few of the most classic classics!
It’s easier to understand manners as an adult. Most kids have asked at least a dozen times about why they have to say “please” and “thank you” and why they can’t play with their food. And don’t forget about that regular refrain: “Why do I need to wash my hands?”
No roundup of Classic Kids’ Questions would be complete without at least one or two of the really tough subjects. Check out these great answers for Where do babies come from? and Where do we go when we die?
Have your kids ever asked you if monsters, mermaids, or the tooth-fairy were real? If they haven’t asked yet, it’s bound to happen soon!
