There are many reasons that people get tired. Being tired can be a sign that you need to drink more water, that your body isn’t getting all of the vitamins it needs, or even that you’re bored! But much of the time, being tired simply means that your body needs sleep!
You use a lot of energy to get through each day. As you grow tired in the evening, your body is letting you know that it’s time to slow down so you can begin storing up the energy you’ll need to have a fabulous tomorrow!
In fact, as day becomes night and it gets dark outside, your body makes melatonin, a chemical that causes you to feel tired and lets you know it’s time to go to sleep. Sweet dreams!
