“¢ Occasionally, a bug bite or a sting might cause more of a problem than just the itch. Some people are allergic to the bite or sting of certain bugs, and these people usually carry special medicine with them that they can take right away if they are bitten or stung. For someone who doesn’t have this medicine or doesn’t know they have an allergy, certain bites and stings can become very serious. If you ever find yourself in a situation like this with yourself or someone else, make sure to get help from a grown-up right away.
“¢ Also make sure to get help from a grown-up if you have numerous bites, very swollen bites, or any other cause for concern!
