One of the fundamental philosophies behind whyzz is the importance of asking questions. Learning to inquire provides kids with tools for solving problems, thinking open-mindedly, challenging convention, and making a difference.

This school year, whyzz is proud to be partnering with The Noguchi Museum’s Educator Programs. The Museum’s Educator Programs offer teachers in the New York City area the opportunity to join together and investigate subjects relevant to both classroom teaching and museum education. For the 2011-2012 year, a special program on Cultivating Curiosity will bring together colleagues and experts in the realm of art and science to explore the roles that questioning and curiosity play in the elementary school classroom during hands-on workshops at The Noguchi Museum.

By partnering with the Museum and working alongside the teachers and experts at these programs, whyzz hopes to learn even more about nurturing curiosity, and support the educators on this mission!
